Biography:

Debbie Carleton came to Falk School in 1979, from the Pittsburgh- Mt. Oliver Intermediate Unit #2 as a math specialist. Once she completed her degree she added reading specialist to her job duties. Prior to 1976 she worked permanent sub jobs in Pittsburgh Public Schools. She is affiliated with the International Dyslexia Association and the Learning Disabilities Association (PA-LDA), sharing her life with husband Jim, son Chris, daughter Kelly, and dog Jenni. Her favorite pass time is curling up with a good book in front of a fire with Jenni on her lap.

To her Falk is a stimulating, warm, and supportive place to work. “We are truly family here; teachers, students, and parents. There is no other place like it! I wish I could have attended Falk School as a child!!! We never stop learning…”
