Biography: 

Leah has come to Falk School in 2011, from University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.  She currently teaches yoga and meditation for all grade levels.  Additionally she is heading a research project, Yoga for Anxious Children, at the University of Pittsburgh.  Her interest lies in the development, implementation and outcome of exercise-based treatments for children and adolescents with mood and anxiety disorders.  She has presented her work at international conferences.  Leah also teaches children and adults at Schoolhouse Yoga’s many locations.  She enjoys running, swimming, hiking and spending time with her husband, Ben and her son Wyatt.  Leah currently lives in the Squirrel Hill area.
