Biography:

Prior to coming to Falk School, Susan worked for many years at Mellon Bank, beginning as a secretary and concluding her banking career as a financial analyst.  She spent the next several years working with a non-profit project, Employers & Child Care, which assisted employers in assessing and responding to the child care needs of their employees.

Susan began her career as a school nurse at Falk School in 1994.  In 1997, she formed a team, secured training for the team, and began development of Falk School’s Student Assistance Program.   She has served as coordinator of the Student Assistance Program since that time.

Outside of school, Susan is very active in both her local parish church and also in the downtown parish, especially as a lector, server, and minister to the homebound.  She was certified as a parish social minister in the Diocese of Pittsburgh in 2008.

Aside from time with her family, Susan loves playing with her two dogs and working in her gardens.
