Wendell McConnaha

Wendell McConnaha was born and raised in Nebraska. Wendell came to Falk to serve as Director in 2005. He also teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in the School of Education and the School of Arts and Sciences. He holds the rank of Associate Professor within the School of Education.
Prior to coming to Falk he served as Executive Director of Field Placement and Partnerships for University of Toledo. He was also Associate Professor in the College of Education, Director of the Teacher Induction Program and Coordinator of the Professional Development Center; Zayed University, Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. Dr. McConnaha's additional laboratory school experience comes from serving as Director of Malcolm Price Laboratory School at the University of Northern Iowa; Superintendent of Greyhills Academy for Northern Arizona University; Director of the University Laboratory School at Louisiana State University; and Principal of the University of Chicago Laboratory High School. Prior to his work with laboratory schools, Wendell served as an elementary teacher, middle school counselor, assistant principal and principal for a number of Nebraska school systems.
Wendell and his wife Judy live in Cranberry. They enjoy reading, travel and diving during their free time.
